Do you allow adult content?
No. We do not allow any adult content on our shared or semi-dedicated servers. You can, however, obtain an unrestricted development environment by leasing a dedicated server from us. How do I make my web page load automatically? In order to have a page load automatically when someone accesses your address, please make sure the page you'd like to have automatically open (i.e.: the page that will open when someone goes to www.yourdomain.com) is one of the following:
You should not have more than one page with the above names inside the same directory. If you do, you should delete and/or rename the page that you don't want to automatically load. If you have forgotten your password, you need to email Technical Support. Be sure to specify whether it's your FTP password, your email password, etc. Do you support Real Audio/Video and G2? No, we don't support these applications. But if you place an audio or video file on your site, our server software will automatically stream it. Do you allow MP3 download sites, roms, game patches or software downloads? No, we do not allow any MP3, Roms, game patches or software download sites on our shared or semi-dedicated servers. For example, if your domain name is widgets.com, the absolute path would be /home/sites/www.widgets.com/web What are the server specifications? Currently, we are running Cobalt Linux 5.0, Apache Web Server 1.3.19, Chili!Soft ASP 3.6, Microsoft FrontPageŽ 2000 extensions, and MySQL 3.23.37. Our minimum hardware requirements are: Pentium 350MhZ, 256MB PC100 RAM, 9GB SCSI drives. How are you connected to the Internet? We are connected to the Internet through 3 OC12's and multiple T3's. We currently utilize less than 35% of this connection for our website customers. One thing you can be sure of - we will never be in need of bandwidth. When we exceed our 50% threshold, we add more. Do you monitor your servers 24 hours a day? Yes. We have a team that monitors the servers and network 24 hours a day. This includes all holidays. To access your site's stats, go to http://www.yourdomain.com/~stats and when prompted, enter your site administration username and password. You may delete these files if you don't use FrontPageŽ. These files and directories are a necessity to run FrontPageŽ. Your hosting account's MX record specifies how mail addressed to your domain is to be handled. By default, such mail is handled by our mail servers and distributed according to your Email Settings. Some users may wish to have mail handled by a remote mail server. In such instances, the MX record can be changed such that all mail addressed to your domain is redirected to the remote server. To change this, please email our Systems Operation Center. I would like a password protected directory, who do I contact? Send us an email. Be sure to mention your domain name and the directory you would like to have password protected. Please note there is a $25 fee for each username/password you wish to set up. You can add sound or music to spice up your web site by embedding a MIDI file in your page. MIDI files are typically only about 15 to 25k in size, so they do not take very long to load. You can use MIDI files as background music on your page by adding the following code to the section of your html file:

You can overwrite existing files or transfer a new file. If you are using FrontPageŽ, you CANNOT USE FTP, you must use FrontPage's built-in Publishing Tool.
