Site Maintenance

Maintenance of a website means different things to different people. Each of these things is very important to ensure the continued benefits of having a website.

For the system administrator it means doing everything that ensures that the webserver stays up & running 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. This aspect of site maintenance is included in your normal hosting fees.

For the Webmaster it means continuously updating content & ensuring all links are still work properly. Additionally the Webmaster must also keep tabs on the efficiency of the site. The efficiency can suffer tremendously if databases become to large, or extraneous files start to clutter your site. When the efficiency drops, it takes longer for your webpages to appear on a visitors screen. Longer waiting times increase the chance a visitor will leave your site. Site maintenance also involves keeping up with the email needs of your system (ie-adding & deleting users).

ISC can be your Webmaster or you may assign this task to someone "in-house". If you decide to take care of this yourself, you can take confidence in knowing that we are just a phone call away if you run into any snags.

By signing up for a maintenance plan, you save money compared to our normal hourly rates.

Basic*	$40 per month, 6 month minimum Up to 1 hour of site maintenance per month Any work over the allotted 1 hour will be billed at a rate of $35 per hour in 1 hour increments.
Corporate*	$100 per month, 6 month minimum Up to 3 hours of site maintenance per month Any work over the allotted 3 hours will be billed at a rate of $30 per hour in 1 hour increments.
If no maintenance plan is selected, our normal rates are as follows:
	$50 per hour for HTML $75 per hour for CGI, JavaScript, VBScript, ASP $100 per hour for database, Java, Flash

* Site maintenance plans are not designed to be used for revamping a website. They are intended for updating content, minor cosmetic changes, & database/file cleanup. Any major websitechanges to be performed by ISC will be quoted separately.
